Could
you play Futsal for England?
Because Futsal is a relative new sport in England
there are great opportunities for youngsters to gain
representative honours at county level and possibly
beyond. The FA is certainly taking a keen interest
in Futsal and the development of promising young
players.
If you’d like to wear the three lions one day this
could be the sport for you.
Be coached by Professionals………………..
Pro-Academy Futsal aims to increase participation in
Futsal in England and provides youngsters with a
great opportunity to develop their skills to elite
levels too.
Richard Williams is Pro-Academy Futsal’s Director of Coaching.

Richard spent 8 years as a youth player at Tottenham
Hotspur before becoming a full time professional
coach. He is an FA qualified Level 3 (UEFA “B”)
coach with additional qualifications in SAQ and
Futsal. He was previously the Regional Director of
Coerver Coaching for Leicestershire & Rutland before
dedicating his time to developing coaching programs
specifically for Futsal.
Richard has coached at a number of professional
clubs including Coventry City, Crystal Palace and
Rushden & Diamonds.
Pro-Academy’s Futsal Coaching program covers the
following subject areas:
Technical skill development
Tactics
Set-Plays
Goalkeeping
Conditioning
In short, it is the complete Futsal development
program for young players who want to achieve elite
standard. Remember… these skills will make you a
better player in 11 a side too!
Sessions are usually of one hour and are held
indoors to replicate game conditions.
Ideally they will be team based for squads of 12
with fees of £6.00 per player per hour.
The advantage of team based coaching is that the
players can learn tactics and set-plays that they
can use to great effect in matches.
Of course, individuals are welcome to attend
coaching sessions and we will place them in training
squads with players of a similar standard.
